Lining up for the opening round of the Super Trofeo Lamborghini, which will be held at Imola this weekend, Target Racing announces its drivers for the four cars it will field in the championship. The #9 car will be driven by Oliver Soderstrom and Largim Ali, a consolidated pairing and a great challenger in the 2023 championship with Roberto Venieri and his team. Car #10, entered under the Lamborghini Stuttgart by Target Racing, is entrusted to Guido Luchetti, who is coming from Formula 4 Italy, and Calle Bergman, an 18-year-old Swede who has gained experience in TCR. The #31, will feature Hampus Ericsson. The 22-year-old Swedish was the absolute star of the Scandinavian Porsche Carrera Cup from 2020 to 2023. Last but not least, car #39 will be driven by Huilin Han, a 40-year-old Chinese racer with extensive GT and Italian Porsche Carrera Cup experience.
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa, as mentioned above, will start on the weekend of 21 April with the first stage in Imola, followed by those in Spa (11 May) and Le Mans, on the same weekend as the 24 Hours (15 June). The first three rounds of the calendar will take place in conjunction with the FIA WEC World Championship. Two events will follow the GT World Challenge Europe: those of the Nürburgring (28 July) and Barcelona (13 October). The epilogue on the Spanish circuit of Jerez on November 15th, on the occasion of the 2024 Lamborghini World Finals.
