Target Racing came back to the Nürburgring one year after its 2023 appearance for the fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa. The Ravenna-based team scored second place overall in a wet race on Saturday with Oliver Söderström and Largim Ali. The Nordic pairing then delivered a top 5 in the second heat, consolidating their second place in the championship. Hampus Ericsson also had a positive weekend, coming close to a podium finish in both races and posting a fourth and fifth place overall respectively.

Returning to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa after winning in ProAm in last year's World Finals in Vallelunga, Alex Au and Frederik Schandorff were among the stars of the weekend. Second in the ProAm class in race 1, the Target Racing duo dominated on Sunday. After taking the ProAm pole, Schandorff led the first part of the race before handing over to Au who completed the job, crossing the finish line first in ProAm. In the Am class, the lone Huilin Han posted an important second place. After a long summer break, the engines of the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 will be back running in mid-October on the Barcelona circuit.
