Valencia was another overwhelmingly positive weekend for Target Racing. The fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa season saw the Italian operation achieve its first ever overall podium with Oliver Söderström and Largim Ali, as well as its third Pro-Am class win with the pairing of Alex Au and Patrick Kujala.
Despite being forced to start from P28 due to the first qualifying session being stopped by a violent crash, Söderström and Ali set a storming pace and, thanks to an excellent strategy from the pit wall, they recovered ground and ended race 1 in sixth place overall.
Ali then outdid himself by setting the third fastest lap time in the second qualifying. During the first stint, the Dane fought for the top spot before handing over the wheel of the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 to Söderström. It was up to the Swede to complete the mission, which resulted in incredible podium finish. And the Scandinavian pairing finished in third place, keeping championship leader Brendon Leitch at bay.
