The 2023 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa season is getting increasingly positive for Target Racing. In the fifth round of the year at Vallelunga, the Emilia-based team achieved its second overall podium with the quick pairing of Oliver Söderström and Largim Ali.

Starting from tenth place on the grid, Ali got rid of his competitors in the initial stages and even went up to third place, before handing the car to Söderström. The Swede capitalized on the work done by his Danish teammate and retained his position until the checkered flag.

In race 2, Söderström showcased a brilliant performance by climbing from P8 to P6. After that, Ali made no mistakes and took home P7 in the end.

It was an unlucky day for the leader of the Pro-Am classification, Alex Au, and his teammate Frederik Schandorff, as they retired in both races. It was a shame for them, especially after achieving second place overall in Saturday's qualifying 2 with Schandorff.
