It was an overwhelming start to the season, to say the least, the one experienced by Target Racing at Misano in the opening round of the 2020 Lamborghini Super Trofeo. The Ravenna-based squad took an authoritative win in race 1 with the duo of Raul Guzman and Milos Pavlovic, who scored in the PRO class. In race 2, they cruised to the third position overall, the second among PRO combinations. As a result, Guzman and Pavlovic hold the lead of the championship moving away from Misano. 

But the success was not limited to that: Target Racing also brought home a win with Massimo Mantovani in the AM class in race 2, after finishing second in race 1. Mantovani is this sitting at the top of the AM classification. Last but not least, the excellent results scored by Rossel-Di Folco deserve a mention as the two finished sixth and fifth overall in the two races respectively. Since free practice, Target Racing has been a leading force as well as in qualifying. In race 1, Pavlovic and Guzman pushed towards victory lap after lap, helped by an excellent strategy in terms of choosing the moment to pit for driver change. In the end, Pavlovic used all his experience to keep his rivals at bay. Rossel-Di Folco could easily finish on the podium in both races, but only a series of unfortunate episodes during the pit stops prevented them from securing the result. 

However, their remarkable effort enabled them to get the sixth and fifth place respectively. Now the focus for Target Racing and its drivers will be directed to the second event of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo season, scheduled for the September 6 weekend at Nurburgring in Germany.
