Target Racing experienced busy times at Spa-Francorchamps. In addition to lining-up in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the Lugo di Ravenna-based team starred in the GT2 championship promoted by SRO. After their brilliant performance in Misano, when Leimer and Casadei took victory in the AM class, Target impressed again with Casadei, this time partnered by Jeromir Jirik. Qualifying saw the Target Racing combination finish in an excellent sixth position overall, fourth in the AM class. In race 1, Jirik-Casadei delivered a solid performance by finishing seventh after 52 hectic minutes, also ending up fourth in class. Unfortunately, the second race was not lucky for Jirik-Casadei, as they were forced to retire in the opening laps.
