Target Racing had an extremely promising start at Imola as the Super Trofeo Lamborghini Europa championship went underway for its season opener. The Italian team, located near Ravenna, dominated the first round of the championship despite the rain and strong gusts of wind that affected Saturday's race. Largim Ali and Oliver Söderström were the stars of race 1, crossing the finish line first. The Target Pro crew then sealed the weekend off with a second place in race 2, securing P1 in the general classification. It was an improving debut for Hampus Eriksson who, after finishing the first race in P12, posted P7 in race 2. More podiums were achieved in the ProAm class. Guido Luchetti and Calle Bergman drove the Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 of Lamborghini Stuttgart by Target Racing to third place in race 1. In the Am class, Huilin Han, who competed alone, delivered P7 and P5 respectively. The next event will be held in mid-May at the Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps.
