DR Formula team collected others good results at Imola, which hosted the sixth round of the 2016 Italian F4 Championship. Artem Petrov putted himself under the spotlights in race 3, when he tried until the chequered flag to conquer is first win.
The young Russian driver could anyway to cheer for the second place, which represents also his second personal podium of the year after Vallelunga race 1 exploit. Petrov took so a deserved reward for his recent progress. He was unlucky on Saturday, when he was forced to retire due to a contact, but he already went back on the right path in race 2 when he crossed the line in sixth position.
The Imola weekend has been more difficult for team mate Raul Guzman, one of the best prospects of the year. The Mexican driver, which stands third in the championship, stuggled on Friday's free practice and qualifying sessions, but he fought to recover in race 1 and race 2, ending in 10th and 7th position respectively. Unfortunately, a contact in race 3 couldn't gave him the opportunity to get other valuable points.
On track with DR Formula there was as usual also Fabienne Wohlwend, listed in the Women Trophy. She ended 20th in race 1 and 24th in race 3.
