The final round of the 2015 Italian Formula 4 championship went underway at Misano with Malta Formula Racing lining-up once again with three cars for Raul Guzman and Kevin Kanayet paired by new hire Riccardo Pollastri. Guzman delivered strong results with two top-10 finishes qualifying and two brilliant races that constantly featured him among the leading pack. In race 1, only a safety-car condition prevented the young Mexican, who had starred with rain tires, from using the full potential of his racecar, settling for a 6th place. In race 2, Guzman ended up 5th with another consistent performance, before taking the 12th place in race 3.
On the other hand, Kevin Kanayet suffered from a really unlucky run as he was involved in a race 1 crash that sent him upside down. Although the crash jeopardized the whole weekend for him, the hard-fighting Colombian didn’t back down. By managing to complete all three races, Pollastri perfectly accomplished his goal for the weekend, showing good car control and smart driving abilities.
