Target Racing continues to be the major star of the 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa championship. Lining up at the iconic Le Mans circuit, providing a perfect frame for the 200th race of the series, the Ravenna-based squad cruised to the overall podium with Oliver Söderström and Largim Ali, who also climbed to the top of the overall championship. The pairing managed tyre wear to perfection, while keeping a high pace to deliver a second place.
After recovering more than 30 spots in an incredible run, Hampus Eircsson barely missed out on the points zone.
Target continued to stay highly-competitive in the Am class. Huilin Han captured another podium and solidified his third place in points. Guido Lucchetti posted a positive sixth place in the Pro-Am class, sharing the car with American Cambiz Aliabadi for the occasion. Coming from Super Trofeo USA, Aliabadi quickly adapted to the French venue and to the team's work method.
Unfortunately, the second race at Le Mans was cancelled due to safety concerns. The next round will be at Nürburgring at the end of July.
